Tour description:

Day 1: Managua city tour- National Park Masaya Volcano- Handicraft Market in Masaya- Catarina- Granada

After breakfast you will be picked up at your hotel and taken for a city tour in Managua. During this tour we will observe the natural beauties of the city that is situated by Xolotlan Lake and with the great Momotombo Volcano in the background.

Our expedition continues to National Park Masaya Volcano, where we will reach the crater of Santiago in a comfortable way. This constantly active crater is a natural phenomenon that you can't stop looking at.

Thereafter we will make a stop in Masaya, to get to know the town and visit the handicraft market, where you can buy or just observe 90% of the artwork produced in Nicaragua. On our way to Granada we will pass by the View Point of Catarina to enjoy the splendid view of the Lagoon of Apoyo. Dinner will be eaten in Granada and there we will spend the night in one of the best hotels of the city.

Day 2: Granada city tour- Islands of Granada

Breakfast and afterwards a tour through the historical center of Granada, where we will visit the main tourist, cultural and architectural attractions like the Cathedral, "El Cuartel de la Polvora", "Casa de los Tres Mundos", the Convent of San Fransisco and its pre-Colombian treasures. All this in the vicinity of impressive Mombacho Volcano.

Our next destination is the port of Asese where a tourist boat will take us to the small islands of Lake of Nicaragua. This brings us closer to Mombacho Volcano and gives us the opportunity to observe the different species of birds that live from the lake.

After a delicious lunch we will go back to the center and as you by now know the town you will have the opportunity to enjoy the night in any of the restaurants or bars of good quality that the town offers.

Day 3: Natural Reserve Mombacho Volcano- Ometepe Island- Santo Domingo Beach

After breakfast we will be taken, by 4x4 vehicles, to the top of Mombacho Volcano. Here we can learn about the significance of the biodiversity that is found within Central American cloud forests.

Our trip continues to the port of San Jorge, where we will catch the ferry to Ometepe Island. On our way to Santo Domingo Beach we will pass by various traditional villages. In one of them, Alta Gracia, we will make a stop to visit the rustic local museum and contemplate its pre-Colombian collections.

Accommodation in Hotel Villa Paraiso or similar.

Day 4: Tour on the slopes of Maderas Volcano

Breakfast and a tour that teaches us about the everyday life and the people living on this paradise island, jealousy protected by its two volcanoes.

Coming back to the hotel, you can enjoy a relaxing day on the beach, swim in the calm water of Lake of Nicaragua or just give in to the tranquility of the site. Accommodation in Hotel Villa Paraiso or similar.

Day 5: Ometepe Island- Moyogalpa

Leaving the hotel early we will continue to Concepcion Volcano and thereafter the main village of the island, Moyogalpa.

Day 6: Managua

Breakfast in the morning and thereafter we will take you to your hotel in Managua or to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
