Tour description:

Day 1: Ometepe Island- Santo Domingo Beach

This tour starts with ferry transport from the port of San Jorge, close to Rivas, to the impressive Ometepe Island and its majestic volcanoes. During the trip we will get to know the small picturesque villages and the everyday life of its people. One of the most popular events during this first day is the barbecue picnic that is being served on one of the best beaches. In the afternoon we will enjoy the charm of the place and the refreshing water of Lake of Nicaragua. Accommodation in Hotel Villa Paraiso (or similar) in Santo Domingo Beach.

Day 2: Santo Domingo Beach- Alta Gracia- Granada

After breakfasts we will be leaving for the village of Alta Gracia and a visit to the church and the rustic local museum. Thereafter we will go back to the colonial town of Granada where a guided tour will take place, leading us to the principal monuments and attractions of the city. Dinner and accommodation in one of Granada's best hotels.

Day 3: Catarina- Masaya Volcano- Handicraft Market in Masaya- Islands of Granada

This day the tour will take us to the place where every person visiting Nicaragua should go: Masaya, but we will start in the village Catarina and by contemplating the majestic view over the Lagoon of Apoyo. In Masaya a visit to the handicraft market, where you can buy handmade native art, is almost compulsory. Our next destination is Masaya Volcano with its active crater Santiago and beautiful scenery of Lake of Nicaragua. Before going back to the hotel, we will make a relaxing and peaceful boat trip to the Islands of Granada and a tour to the most interesting cultural, historical and architectural attractions of the city. We will enjoy our dinner in Granada and thereafter you are free to explore the nightlife on your own.

Day 4: Managua city tour- León- Montelimar

From Granada we will travel north to Managua where we stop for a tour through this city of contrasts. The trip continues northwards to León, driving through a mountainous area where we can enjoy a great number of volcanoes, such as "Cerro Negro", "Momotombo" and "Masaya". In León we will visit the museum of the famous poet Ruben Dario and the biggest Cathedral of Central America.

Dinner and accommodation at Montelimar Beach Resort.

Day 5: Montelimar

This day is dedicated to activities and relaxation on the 14 kilometer long beach of Montelimar and in the hotel that offers the service of all included.

Day 6: Managua

Transportation to Managua or your next destination.
