Day 1: Managua

Arrival at the International Airport in Managua where someone from our team is waiting for you and will take you to your hotel in Managua.

Day 2: Managua- León

After breakfast, early in the morning, we will start our tour in the capital of Nicaragua, Managua. This includes visiting the most important sites, monuments, museums and other places of interest, such as Lake of Managua and Malecon. After a delicious lunch we will continue towards León, a journey of two hours, and there we will spend the two following nights.

Day 3: León- Las Peñitas

The day starts with breakfast and then a walking tour to the historical center of León, with visits to the Cathedral, the old University and the Museum of Ruben Dario. In the afternoon we will be taken to the beautiful beaches of Poneloya and Las Peñitas where you can refresh yourself in the calm water of the Pacific. Additionally we will visit the Natural Reserve of Juan Venado, famous for its mangrove forests. Dinner in León.

Day 4: León- Matagalpa- Selva Negra (Black Forest)

After breakfast the trip goes to the cold and mountainous area of central Nicaragua. Passing through the city of Matagalpa and stopping for a visit in the exotic and impressive Selva Negra (Black Forest). The lunch is served in the reserve and later on we will enjoy a pleasant walk through a mixed tropical forest. Dinner and accommodation in Hotel Selva Negra.

Day 5: Selva Negra (Black Forest)- Granada

Observing the great amount of animals and birds outside your bungalow at Hotel Selva Negra, early in the morning, could be an unforgettable and unique experience. Further on you can, after breakfast, enjoy the green surroundings of the hotel before we will leave for the impressive the Lagoon of Apoyo. Dinner and accommodation in Hotel Norome by the shore of the lagoon.

Day 6: Masaya Volcano- Handicraft Market- Catarina- Granada

After breakfast the trip starts in National Park Masaya Volcano where we, in a comfortable way, will reach the edge of the crater Santiago. A stop is planned in Masaya, where we will get to know the town and visit Handicraft Market of Masaya that sells 90% of the art work produced in the country. Our next destination is the colonial city of Granada and on the way we will stop by the View Point of Catarina to enjoy the splendid view over the Lagoon of Apoyo. In Granada we will have dinner and spend two nights in one of the best hotels in town.

Day 7: Granada- Islands of Granada

After having breakfast we will walk through Granada to contemplate the colonial brick wood buildings and the special movement of the pretty city. In the port of Asese we will catch a boat that will take us to the romantic islands of Lake of Nicaragua. Lunch is served in the port of Asese and when we get back to Granada, the tour of the oldest town in America continues.

Day 8: Mombacho Volcano- Ometepe Island- Santo Domingo Beach

After breakfast we will head towards Ometepe Island and on our way there we will stop by natural Reserve Mombacho Volcano. Our destination on the island, Santo Domingo Beach, is reached by ferry and to get there we will pass by picturesque villages and the enigmatic but beautiful "Laguna de Charco Verde". The afternoon is free for own activities such as, swimming or spending time on the beach, enjoying the view of the two volcanoes Maderas and Concepcion. Dinner and two nights spent at Hotel Villa Paraiso.

Day 9: Maderas Volcano- Santo Domingo Beach

Breakfast and according to the physical condition of the group we will climb Maderas Volcano. People with lots of energy can go all the way to the top while the rest of the group takes a break to enjoy the tranquility of "Hacienda Magdalena". Packed lunch will be brought and eaten during the hike.

Day 10: Ometepe Island- Managua- Corn Island

After breakfast we will head back to the picturesque port of San Jorge from where we will be transported to the International Airport of Managua. From the airport we catch a flight to Corn Island on the Atlantic side. In the afternoon you are free to explore the island and Caribbean traditions on your own. Accommodation one night on the island but dinner not included.

Day 11: Corn Island- Little Corn Island

Breakfast and boat transfer on the turquoise coloured crystal water towards paradise like Little Corn Island. There we will spend three nights at one of the best hotels of the island, breakfast is included. Until day 14 we will swim in the clear water, enjoy other activities and indulge in delicious seafood. But be careful not to get to relaxed in the hammocks, because if you do, you might not want to go back.

Day 14: Little Corn Island- Corn Island- Managua

After breakfast we will be transferred to Corn Island, where we catch a flight to go back to Managua. Night spent in Managua.
