Located 60 kilometers from Granada and only 24 kilometers from the Costa Rican border, San Juan del Sur is a charming and picturesque fishing village that has transformed into one of the most frequently visited places on the Nicaraguan pacific. Here you can enjoy 3 kilometers of beautiful beaches and a pleasant climate all through the year. As well there is the possibility of practicing surfing, snorkeling, fishing and other water sports.

At night you can indulge in fresh fish in any of the restaurants by the beach and afterwards continue and explore the nightlife in bars, discotheques and restaurants. And if this wasn't enough, within a distance of a few kilometers, you will find La Flor Natural Reserve, where you can observe turtles laying their eggs during the nesting season, November to January.
